A collision led to Cambotinha EC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Antônio Toledo hit a great ball. After 8 minutes, Davi Prata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cambotinha EC and the Talleres de Escalada players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cambotinha EC's Davi Prata got a free kick in the 8th minute. Leandro Iratxo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Montenegro came out and tried to block the shot, but Leandro Iratxo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Celso Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Iratxo in the 19th minute of play forced Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Ernesto Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 22 in the game by Andres Jusepe from a close distance when the talented Ernesto Montenegro managed to make a qualified save. Cambotinha EC's players were relieved. Ernesto Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Jusepe in the 29th minute. In the 38th minute Leandro Iratxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Talleres de Escalada's Raimundo Innocenzio got a free kick in the 40th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luizinho de Queiroz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Iratxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes in the game Maximino Moise did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cosme Lauren. In the 59th minute, Nicolas Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cambotinha EC's zone, Anselmo Afonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Montenegro came out of the goal and Anselmo Afonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andres Jusepe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Talleres de Escalada's Osvaldo Paublo got a free kick in the 67th minute. Cambotinha EC's Luizinho de Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Cambotinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Moreira. Leandro Iratxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83rd play minutes Andres Jusepe shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Ernesto Montenegro and just under the crossbar into goal. 87 minutes into the game, Adriano Figueiredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cambotinha EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres de Escalada the free kick. In the 90th minute, Leandro Iratxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Cambotinha EC booed when Talleres de Escalada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Talleres de Escalada walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
