The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Dimo got free with Waldo Hills in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Marcello was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the ROJO defense, Marcelo Marcello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Kaxen. The ROJO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Kaxen should have stopped the shot.
