Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramiro Eleder to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Deportivo David Mardel's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Di Maria came free, but Vicente Baristo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Fidele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Fausto George managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Deportivo David Mardel's Ramiro Eleder fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 89th minute, Angel Di Maria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Baristo was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Fausto George showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曾诚枫 in the 97th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Sporting de Gijón were the better team. Sporting de Gijón's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
