In the 2nd match minute, Cambotinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Jason Douglas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernesto Montenegro, 2-0. In the 14th minute, Marcelo Marcello made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Montenegro. Cambotinha EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Ernesto Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Marcello, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Cambotinha EC's Ernesto Montenegro got control of the ball when Pedro Pedro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cambotinha EC's zone, Marcelo Marcello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Montenegro came out of the goal and Marcelo Marcello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelo Marcello in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ernesto Montenegro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Marcelo Marcello took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Ernesto Montenegro to make any attempt to save it. 29 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Ernesto Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Pedro. The Atletico Patoruzu fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Atletico Patoruzu's Marcelo Marcello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcelo Marcello had several of the Cambotinha EC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Ernesto Montenegro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cambotinha EC's Ernesto Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Marcello in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Cambotinha EC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Luizinho de Queiroz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Cambotinha EC's Luizinho de Queiroz got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Marcelo Marcello made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Montenegro. Cambotinha EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

The wind increased when Marcelo Marcello made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Javier Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Atletico Patoruzu booed when Cambotinha EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Marcello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, Cambotinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Moreira to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Cambotinha EC's Waldo Hills threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicolas Alvarenga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Atletico Patoruzu's Waldo Hills played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Alvarenga in the 70th minute of play. Ernesto Montenegro came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Patoruzu's Marcelo Marcello. But to his dismay, Marcelo Marcello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Ernesto Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Rodriguez in the 76th minute of play. When Pedro Pedro fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Patoruzu's protests and gave Pedro Pedro a yellow card for diving instead. Marcelo Marcello took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Montenegro. Ernesto Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Ernesto Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Rodriguez in the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to Cambotinha EC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Marcel Moreira hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Atletico Patoruzu's Felix Plummer got a free kick in the 89th minute. Tyrell Cochran hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th match minute, Atletico Patoruzu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyrell Cochran to maneuver through the defense. Cambotinha EC's Ernesto Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Marcello in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Atletico Patoruzu got a corner. Cambotinha EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelo Marcello ran over to the corner to take the kick.
