Ernesto Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Dimo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. ROJO's Aldo Kaxen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Alvarenga in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Cambotinha EC booed when ROJO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Quilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cambotinha EC's Ernesto Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Quilo in the 18th minute of play. Davi Prata charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davi Prata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cambotinha EC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Davi Prata hit a great ball. Ernesto Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Jordy in the 22nd minute of play. Marcel Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ROJO's Aldo Kaxen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Alvarenga in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cambotinha EC's Davi Prata got a free kick in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Huijsmans in the 35th minute of play forced Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Ernesto Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Felix Bizi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Montenegro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 39th minute Dionisio Selmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cambotinha EC's Marcel Moreira got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Huijsmans came free, but Ernesto Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When ROJO's Jan Huijsmans in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cambotinha EC's goalie prevented a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

ROJO made a substitution. Laureano Michael replaced Nicolas Salvino. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Alvarenga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Cambotinha EC's Ernesto Montenegro got control of the ball when Dionisio Selmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nicolas Alvarenga fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cambotinha EC's protests and gave Nicolas Alvarenga a yellow card for diving instead. Ernesto Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Selmo in the 67th minute of the match. Dionisio Selmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cambotinha EC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Gláuber Teixeira hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Nicolas Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Cambotinha EC's Ernesto Montenegro got control of the ball when Dionisio Selmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardinho Bertassi during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernardinho Bertassi hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes, Eulalio Quilo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ROJO and the Cambotinha EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of ROJO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cambotinha EC:s goal. Aldo Kaxen had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Nicolas Alvarenga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 86th minute, Gláuber Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ROJO's Filiberto Jordy shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ernesto Montenegro but with some difficulty. 90 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Ernesto Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dionisio Selmo. In the 95th minute, Eulalio Quilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Alvarenga, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
