The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernandez Cueva kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Ingmar Hellström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frisco Arroyo in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goal looked a bit too open when Frisco Arroyo came free, but Ingmar Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Frisck came free, but Lautaro Estebanez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingmar Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frisco Arroyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 23 minutes of play, Sabaneta FC's Frisco Arroyo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingmar Hellström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Sabaneta FC's Fernandez Cueva got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Sofiane Charradi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Estebanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Fernandez Cueva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingmar Hellström. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernandez Cueva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 41st minute, Fernandez Cueva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ingmar Hellström was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ingmar Hellström made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Clemente Ruy sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Helge Lundqvist made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Étoile Sportive Du Sahel getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Nils-Erik Lövkvist hit a great ball. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Ingmar Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frisco Arroyo in the 55th minute of play. If Diego Angulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Frisco Arroyo put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ingmar Hellström. After 64 minutes of play, Sabaneta FC's Fernandez Cueva made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingmar Hellström was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Sabaneta FC fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Sabaneta FC's Frisco Arroyo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Felipe Senzano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabaneta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Senzano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingmar Hellström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Ingmar Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Ruy in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sabaneta FC's Manu Agostino got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ingmar Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Ruy, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sabaneta FC fully deserved thier win.
