Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Frisck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Medrea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6thth minute of the game Helge Lundqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC ANC's Sebastian Medrea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's zone, Leonard Duțulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingmar Hellström came out of the goal and Leonard Duțulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute Daniel Buculeasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingmar Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mădălin Boeru lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 28th match minute, FC ANC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Buculeasa to maneuver through the defense. FC ANC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Helge Lundqvist scored to the left of an out of position Sebastian Medrea, making the score, 2-0. With his leg Sebastian Medrea managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Helge Lundqvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Helge Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Helge Lundqvist was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC ANC's goalkeeper Sebastian Medrea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastian Medrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofiane Charradi in the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to Étoile Sportive Du Sahel getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Nils-Erik Lövkvist hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Daniel Buculeasa made a precise shot to the right of Ingmar Hellström. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Jim Frisck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Medrea having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Helge Lundqvist in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Medrea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goalkeeper Ingmar Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iustin Deliman. Sebastian Medrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Frisck in the 83rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Helge Lundqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Medrea was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 94th match minute, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Erik Lövkvist to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel had played much better football throughout.
