Ingmar Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Eufemio in the 3rd minute of the match. Victor Rio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ingmar Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Anacleto Maore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingmar Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Kilberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Orlando Leoiar made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Maore came free, but Ingmar Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Leoiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Jim Frisck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Leoiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jim Frisck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Orlando Leoiar came out and tried to block the shot, but Jim Frisck slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Lundqvist came free, but Orlando Leoiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Equipo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jim Frisck was slow to take the kick. During this time Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Robert Kilberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Orlando Leoiar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anacleto Maore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Hellström having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Erik Lövkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Leonel Abeijon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Helge Lundqvist was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Florentino Eufemio took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ingmar Hellström to make any attempt to save it. Orlando Leoiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofiane Charradi in the 57th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Equipo got a freekick which was hit by Victor Rio. Ingmar Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Eufemio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Orlando Leoiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Frisck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Étoile Sportive Du Sahel were awarded a corner. Jim Frisck went to the cornerflag to take it. After 70 played minutes Equipo got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Celino. Victor Rio charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Rio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Equipo getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Victor Rio hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Frisck came free, but Orlando Leoiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Victor Rio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino Eufemio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ingmar Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingmar Hellström was a little too slow when Florentino Eufemio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-2. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Étoile Sportive Du Sahel lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
