After 18 minutes of play, Seagulls's Martin Andriessen made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiaguinho Sergipano was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno das Neves in the 23rd minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Smeekes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bem Bolado's Mo Di Yun got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cláudio Donatello scored 2-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Magno das Neves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafinha Cabral in the 90th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bem Bolado had played much better football throughout.
