An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Helge Lundqvist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 6 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goal looked a bit too open when Nicodim Ozon came free, but Kurt Österlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Helge Lundqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Horaţiu Bociort when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 15 minutes, Iosif Iureș mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CF REALCipri and the Étoile Sportive Du Sahel players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes CF REALCipri got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Iureș. In the 17th minute, one of CF REALCipri:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CF REALCipri. Horaţiu Bociort had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Helge Lundqvist's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Helge Lundqvist took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horaţiu Bociort. Horaţiu Bociort dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Sofiane Charradi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CF REALCipri's Horaţiu Bociort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Lundqvist in the 40th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Gabriel Aalexoaiei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CF REALCipri and the Étoile Sportive Du Sahel players grew even worse after the yellow card. CF REALCipri's Horaţiu Bociort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Frisck in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Helge Lundqvist made a kick off. Horaţiu Bociort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Frisck in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, CF REALCipri's goal looked a bit too open when Sofiane Charradi came free, but Horaţiu Bociort reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Helge Lundqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horaţiu Bociort was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Codrin Stan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurt Österlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Horaţiu Bociort showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sofiane Charradi, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, Gabriel Aalexoaiei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kurt Österlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 71 minutes into the match, CF REALCipri's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Lundqvist came free, but Horaţiu Bociort reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Étoile Sportive Du Sahel getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Henric Haraldsson hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Kurt Österlund successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, CF REALCipri's Kurt Österlund threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iosif Iureș, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kurt Österlund was a little too slow when Iosif Iureș got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 2-3. Jim Frisck hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Sofiane Charradi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's supporters rose to their feet, but Sofiane Charradi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horaţiu Bociort breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Helge Lundqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The CF REALCipri supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CF REALCipri would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
