The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Ildefonso Celino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 minutes, Gabriel Bărbătescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC ANC and the Equipo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes FC ANC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Bărbătescu. Sebastian Medrea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Gabon in the 14th minute. Orlando Leoiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonard Duțulescu's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. FC ANC's Sebastian Medrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Celino in the 36th minute of play. Sebastian Gabon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Sebastian Medrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ildefonso Celino sped through FC ANC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sebastian Medrea. 47 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Deliman came free, but Orlando Leoiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Iustin Deliman sped through Equipo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Orlando Leoiar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After having played for 53 minutes, Ildefonso Celino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Equipo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Celino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Gabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Medrea having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Ildefonso Celino put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sebastian Medrea. With a little luck, Equipo's Orlando Leoiar got control of the ball when Daniel Buculeasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Florin's late challenge caught a FC ANC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Florin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Equipo's Armando Florin got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Sebastian Medrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Celino, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Equipo's goalkeeper Orlando Leoiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Equipo getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Sebastian Gabon hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Equipo fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC ANC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
