Clemente Ruy might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Abrahamsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clemente Ruy ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th minute, Jim Frisck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sofiane Charradi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lautaro Estebanez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 minutes, Shepherd Miramontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabaneta FC and the Étoile Sportive Du Sahel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Sabaneta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shepherd Miramontes to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Estebanez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sofiane Charradi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sabaneta FC booed when Étoile Sportive Du Sahel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Edvin Lundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Ruy came free, but Jan Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Torbjörn Högberg got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Frisco Arroyo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Abrahamsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 24th match minute, Sabaneta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Ruy to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Estebanez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Frisck in the 25th minute of the match. Hans Bocklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Lautaro Estebanez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jim Frisck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Lautaro Estebanez made a huge save. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sabaneta FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Torbjörn Högberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's players had a chance to rest. Frisco Arroyo scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Abrahamsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute, Diego Angulo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sabaneta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Jan Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Angulo in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Angulo to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Sabaneta FC defense, Sofiane Charradi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Estebanez. The Sabaneta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Estebanez should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Étoile Sportive Du Sahel booed when Sabaneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandez Cueva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Frisco Arroyo made a precise shot to the right of Jan Abrahamsson. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Helge Lundqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute Clemente Ruy suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Bengt-Åke Lövskog charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bengt-Åke Lövskog the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Étoile Sportive Du Sahel getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Lövskog hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Angulo during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sabaneta FC's Diego Angulo got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute, Fernandez Cueva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute of the match Torbjörn Högberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Estebanez skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frisco Arroyo got free with Jan Abrahamsson in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Jan Abrahamsson got control of the ball when Frisco Arroyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Angulo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan Abrahamsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frisco Arroyo in the 81st minute of play. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Jan Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandez Cueva in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Frisco Arroyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabaneta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frisco Arroyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Abrahamsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandez Cueva in the 88th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Fernandez Cueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, Sabaneta FC's Frisco Arroyo made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Abrahamsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Étoile Sportive Du Sahel fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sabaneta FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
