An unexpectedly hard shot by André Roriz in the 2nd minute of play forced Unidade Pinto Louco's goalkeeper Dalmo Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 3rd minute, Alexandre Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garanhão do SUL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Heitor Peseiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Camilo Lizbeth hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. When Julião Valverde fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garanhão do SUL's protests and gave Julião Valverde a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Julião Valverde hit a great ball. Heitor Peseiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Umberto Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Unidade Pinto Louco's Marco Santana seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marco Santana the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Unidade Pinto Louco protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marco Santana had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Unidade Pinto Louco fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Dalmo Félix had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Alexandre Vale's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 23rd minute, Alexandre Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmo Félix was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Unidade Pinto Louco's Arthur Barral in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Roriz to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, André Roriz notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Unidade Pinto Louco's Dalmo Félix. Dalmo Félix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57th minute Alexandre Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unidade Pinto Louco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Acácio Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Heitor Peseiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Dalmo Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Coutinho in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Elias Garikoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmo Félix. Unidade Pinto Louco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Garikoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Acácio Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Heitor Peseiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dalmo Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
