The supporters of Unidade Pinto Louco booed when Joinville United - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Unidade Pinto Louco's goalkeeper Dalmo Félix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gugu Ortiz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Barral in the 20th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cauan Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Joinville United - FSCMZ's Gugu Ortiz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dalmo Félix. That made the score 1-0 after 34 minutes of play. Cauan Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Dalmo Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Munhoz in the 39th minute of play. After some careless play in the Unidade Pinto Louco defense, Afonsinho Munhoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmo Félix. The Unidade Pinto Louco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmo Félix should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Dalmo Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd match minute, Joinville United - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Gugu Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Félix having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Unidade Pinto Louco's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Ortiz came free, but Dalmo Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Gugu Ortiz got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 66 played minutes Joinville United - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Velasco. The audience was convinced that Breno Meirelles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmo Félix was relentless in the 70th minute of the game.
