The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, BFC 1982's Elvio Etxatxu got a free kick in the 6th minute. Abel Bordat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stancho Beshkov in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, FC LEVSKI ОК's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Bortzaioriz came free, but Radomir Yonchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Bordat didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Abel Bordat was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Stoyadin Vezirski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The BFC 1982 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 47 minutes into the match, BFC 1982's goalkeeper Abel Bordat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stoyadin Vezirski. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stoyadin Vezirski to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, BFC 1982's Augusto Bortzaioriz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Stoyadin Vezirski struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Stancho Beshkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Abel Bordat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Bordat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stoyadin Vezirski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, BFC 1982's Enrique Jakue got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the BFC 1982 defense, Zdravko Deninski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Bordat. There was no doubt that FC LEVSKI ОК were the better team. FC LEVSKI ОК's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
