The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zé Augusto Sena hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Oussama Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 楚庭潮 in the 10th minute of play. Chaouki Loussayef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jean dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 21 minutes, Wincent Wawro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Remedios SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wincent Wawro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chaouki Loussayef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean dos Santos having to interfere. Symba's Oussama Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Wawro in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Remedios SC booed when Symba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hassen Djait didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 minutes Symba's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Horácio Maciel who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Remedios SC's 楚庭潮 getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 42nd minute, Symba's Humberto Esteves seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Humberto Esteves the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Symba protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Humberto Esteves had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Symba:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Remedios SC:s goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chivu Quintana made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Symba's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Chivu Quintana fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 54 minutes into the match, Chivu Quintana dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oussama Amor, 0-1. If 楚庭潮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Symba booed when Remedios SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Pierre Melliti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Symba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Remedios SC the free kick. Pierre Melliti kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Chivu Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Remedios SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chivu Quintana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oussama Amor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chivu Quintana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Oussama Amor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th match minute, Symba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kais Mokadem to maneuver through the defense. Symba's Oussama Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chivu Quintana in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chivu Quintana in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oussama Amor saved Symba from getting behind. After 83 minutes, Chivu Quintana made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Symba's Oussama Amor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chivu Quintana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Oussama Amor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 94th play minute Chivu Quintana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Oussama Amor. 0-4. Remedios SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
