In the 22nd minute Aldo Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remedios SC's Jean dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Dias in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Arrebimba o Malho SLB booed when Remedios SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincent Wawro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marciano Eskuin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chivu Quintana's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. If Quim Barreiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59thth minute of the game Aldo Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Remedios SC's Jean dos Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Jean dos Santos managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Aldo Dias fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zé Augusto Sena's late challenge caught a Arrebimba o Malho SLB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
