Spectators: 7519 (Terracing: 5640, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Feliks Orszak took the kick off in the first half of the match. Horea Raicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szczepan Wiatrak in the 4th minute of play. After 4 minutes of play, WKS Śląsk Wrocław's Szczepan Wiatrak made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horea Raicu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 8 minutes into the match, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goalkeeper Horea Raicu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Szczepan Wiatrak. Horea Raicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafal Pieprz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szczepan Wiatrak came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Horea Raicu could save by the left post. Rafal Pieprz struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Horea Raicu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WKS Śląsk Wrocław. Konrad Marut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Verzea in the 21st minute of play. In the 34th match minute, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Moldoveanu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Claudiu Udroiu got a free kick in the 44th minute. Horea Raicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliks Orszak in the 46th minute of play.

The supporters of -BZF- Fc Gheraseni booed when WKS Śląsk Wrocław was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Poremba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sabin Strugure hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Wieslaw Bochynski's late challenge caught a -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wieslaw Bochynski helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes WKS Śląsk Wrocław got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Bochynski. Rafal Pieprz hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 64thth minute of the game Feliks Orszak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Horea Raicu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Francis Kerr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Corneliu Burdea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norbert Poremba hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 79 minutes, Rafal Pieprz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WKS Śląsk Wrocław and the -BZF- Fc Gheraseni players grew even worse after the yellow card. 83 minutes into the match, Feliks Orszak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horea Raicu. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliks Orszak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Stelian Covrig was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in -BZF- Fc Gheraseni fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Horea Raicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafal Pieprz in the 95th minute of play. Horea Raicu came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by WKS Śląsk Wrocław's Rafal Pieprz. But to his dismay, Rafal Pieprz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. WKS Śląsk Wrocław's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
