Hílton Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Barea, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Hílton Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Abadie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesus Abadie in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Xurupita FC's Sebastião Barros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Uriel Iratzeder. Uriel Iratzeder yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Hílton Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Abadie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hílton Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Abadie in the 32nd minute of the match. Leonides Barea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hílton Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jesus Abadie went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Belmiro Paraíba was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Barros in the 52nd minute of play forced Club Sportivo Quilmes's goalkeeper Uriel Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastião Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Gustavo Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xurupita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Sportivo Quilmes the free kick. After 73 played minutes Xurupita FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Cerezo. Hílton Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Barea in the 74th minute of play. Vinicio Acuña's late challenge caught a Xurupita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinicio Acuña helped the player get up and apologised. Vinicio Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Jesus Abadie sped through Xurupita FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hílton Costa. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Jesus Abadie put it in 1-6 from a short distance just to the right of Hílton Costa. Jesus Abadie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Costa having to interfere. If Jesus Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Iratzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Paraíba in the 89th minute of the match. Eliseu Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Iratzeder having to interfere. Club Sportivo Quilmes played a much better game than Xurupita FC and deserved their victory. The Xurupita FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
