Spectators: 7448 (Terracing: 5587, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) KINROAD's Hilario Vergaray started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Vale in the 6th minute of play forced KINROAD's goalkeeper Dionisio Tono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Vale struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Dionisio Tono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matungo Gaúcho. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Hilario Vergaray sped through Matungo Gaúcho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zé de Senna. Dionisio Tono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário da Cunha in the 15th minute of play. After 17 minutes of play, KINROAD's Hilario Vergaray made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé de Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of KINROAD booed when Matungo Gaúcho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé de Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Felo in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Lopez during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Matungo Gaúcho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Bernabe Sabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé de Senna having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, KINROAD's Bernabe Sabino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé de Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Dionisio Tono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário da Cunha in the 28th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Matungo Gaúcho got a freekick which was hit by Nilmar Andrade. A hard shot by Martin Sedeni from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Zé de Senna's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hilario Vergaray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Zé de Senna made a huge save. In the 36th minute, KINROAD's Rolando Ticho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé de Senna. Zé de Senna yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Toninho Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dário da Cunha to make the kick off. Zé de Senna came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by KINROAD's Hilario Vergaray. But to his dismay, Hilario Vergaray quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 61st match minute, KINROAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Furman to maneuver through the defense. Zé de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Angelino Chayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Matungo Gaúcho booed when KINROAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Sabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Leonardo Furman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KINROAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Furman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernabe Sabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Luís da Mata hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Matungo Gaúcho's zone, Martin Sedeni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé de Senna came out of the goal and Martin Sedeni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Felo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 93 minutes, Hilario Vergaray made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. KINROAD had won after a very even match.
