Zé de Senna came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Radomir Piczak. But to his dismay, Radomir Piczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Edmílson Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Makowski in the 37th minute of play. Zé de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kryspin Makowski in the 39th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kryspin Makowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé de Senna was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 47th minute Kryspin Makowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Gocław Wilga Warszawa were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With an all-out effort, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Zé de Senna threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kryspin Makowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
