In the 4th minute, Edgard Abar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé de Senna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Deportivo Kadorna's Ramon Telesforo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé de Senna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramon Telesforo charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramon Telesforo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zé de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Gartxot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes of play, Deportivo Kadorna's Jonatan Gartxot made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé de Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 31 minutes, Jonatan Gartxot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Kadorna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Gartxot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 minutes, Baltasar Santana made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Benedicto Karmel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Kadorna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. A collision led to Matungo Gaúcho getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Abelardo de Lara hit a great ball. In the 39th minute of the match Isidro Kimetz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé de Senna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Deportivo Kadorna booed when Matungo Gaúcho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Mano hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Reinaldo Marinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltasar Santana was the one to do the kick off. Zé de Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedicto Karmel went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Matungo Gaúcho from getting a goal against them. Deportivo Kadorna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ramon Telesforo in the 58th minute. The corner led Deportivo Kadorna's Ramon Telesforo to fire away a dangerous shot which Zé de Senna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Kadorna's Zé de Senna threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baltasar Santana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cleto Mano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedicto Karmel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Zé de Senna made a huge save. Zé de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Karmel, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Baltasar Santana reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zé de Senna. The goal made the score 0-10. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Edgard Abar took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Zé de Senna to make any attempt to save it. In the 84th minute, Deportivo Kadorna's Baltasar Santana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé de Senna. Zé de Senna yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Kadorna's Benedicto Karmel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zé de Senna. That made the score 0-13 after 87 minutes of play. Zé de Senna was a little too slow when Baltasar Santana got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-14. Zé de Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltasar Santana's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Deportivo Kadorna played a much better game than Matungo Gaúcho and deserved their victory. The Matungo Gaúcho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
