The crowd rose to their feet as Edgard Abar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zé de Senna. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Zé de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Karmel, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience was convinced that Baltasar Santana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé de Senna was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Serafin Estebano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Kadorna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dário da Cunha was slow to take the kick. During this time Matungo Gaúcho's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Matungo Gaúcho's corner Dário da Cunha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Serafin Estebano quite easily take care of the ball. Baltasar Santana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Zé de Senna skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Matungo Gaúcho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Baltasar Santana scored to the left of an out of position Zé de Senna, making the score, 2-0. Isidro Kimetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé de Senna having to interfere. Zé de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Gartxot in the 33rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dário da Cunha to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Matungo Gaúcho defense, Baltasar Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé de Senna. The Matungo Gaúcho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé de Senna should have stopped the shot. Reinaldo Marinho hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes, Deportivo Kadorna's Ramon Telesforo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zé de Senna came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Kadorna reached it. 59 minutes into the match, Deportivo Kadorna's Jonatan Gartxot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé de Senna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Baltasar Santana put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zé de Senna. Ramon Telesforo's late challenge caught a Matungo Gaúcho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Telesforo helped the player get up and apologised. Ramon Telesforo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Jonatan Gartxot got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Baltasar Santana. 67 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Santana came free, but Zé de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Gartxot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Abelardo de Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matungo Gaúcho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Kadorna the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, Matungo Gaúcho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo de Lara to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Santana in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé de Senna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Gartxot in the 84th minute of play. Zé de Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedicto Karmel went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Zé de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Karmel, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Benedicto Karmel came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Deportivo Kadorna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Karmel couldn't finish the play. In the 96th match minute, Deportivo Kadorna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Evarado to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Dário da Cunha from long distance, 97 minutes into the match, got Serafin Estebano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo Kadorna fully deserved thier win.
