Spectators: 7541 (Terracing: 5657, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) SRP-Laguna's Wiliam de Souza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carter Giancristofaro charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carter Giancristofaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carter Giancristofaro hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 5 played minutes Bar Marconi United got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Ranalli. Fabrizio Greco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Faustão Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Wiliam de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Limitone took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustão Custódio. Faustão Custódio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 21 minutes of play, Bar Marconi United's Fabrizio Greco made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustão Custódio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Narciso Schmidt came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the SRP-Laguna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Schmidt couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Fabrizio Greco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustão Custódio. SRP-Laguna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabrizio Greco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 40th minute, Alex Limitone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Faustão Custódio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Limitone. Walmyr Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Carter Giancristofaro hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Wiliam de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Fabrizio Greco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustão Custódio. SRP-Laguna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabrizio Greco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Fabrizio Greco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustão Custódio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, SRP-Laguna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match Carter Giancristofaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faustão Custódio skillfully saved the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Bar Marconi United's Fabrizio Greco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustão Custódio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in SRP-Laguna's zone, Fabrizio Greco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustão Custódio came out of the goal and Fabrizio Greco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Limitone during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alex Limitone hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. SRP-Laguna's Faustão Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Greco in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bar Marconi United fans cheered their team off the field, for while SRP-Laguna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
