Mountainhammer United's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Arvidsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernabe Osorio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, CLATHU's goalkeeper Bernabe Osorio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt Stålman. After 8 played minutes CLATHU got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Mingo. In the 9th minute, Teofilo Pere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Mountainhammer United's Rudolf Pihlberg to a score. 1-0 in the 19th minute. If Bengt Stålman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Bengt Stålman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernabe Osorio, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in CLATHU's zone, Harry Arvidsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Osorio came out of the goal and Harry Arvidsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kent Rang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kent Delin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aprígio Tomé's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Emanuel Mingo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Kent Delin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Bernabe Osorio managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Mountainhammer United's Kent Rang fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 47th minute, CLATHU's Eusebiu Feteanu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eusebiu Feteanu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CLATHU protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eusebiu Feteanu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 47th minute, Eusebiu Feteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Mountainhammer United's Oscar Kock sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernabe Osorio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kent Rang was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, CLATHU's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Arvidsson came free, but Bernabe Osorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Rang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Bernabe Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CLATHU's Cristóbal Colon got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Oscar Kock managed to get in a good position for a shot. A well-hit corner resulted in Harry Arvidsson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience was convinced that Harry Arvidsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernabe Osorio was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Kent Rang might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernabe Osorio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kent Rang ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Mingo got free with Kent Delin in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Mountainhammer United getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Sonny Brogren hit a great ball. If Emanuel Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Mountainhammer United's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Caetano came free, but Kent Delin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kent Rang in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernabe Osorio saved CLATHU from getting behind. A collision led to CLATHU getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cristóbal Colon hit a great ball. Bernabe Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Stålman in the 78th minute of play. Kent Delin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Caetano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernabe Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Stålman, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kent Rang in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernabe Osorio saved CLATHU from getting behind. If Emanuel Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes of play, Mountainhammer United's Harry Arvidsson made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernabe Osorio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Mountainhammer United booed when CLATHU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Mingo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sonny Brogren hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
