The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodor Froiz helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Diablos Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Froiz. In the 23rd minute, Rod Stewart made a precise shot to the right of Celestino Villamañan. Diablos Rojos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Christian Horado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celestino Villamañan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rod Stewart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 38th minute of the match Teodor Froiz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Teodor Froiz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of DON RAMON 72 booed when Diablos Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Froiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvano Harkaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celestino Villamañan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rod Stewart, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Celestino Villamañan had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Silvano Harkaitz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A nice corner shot did that Silvano Harkaitz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Celestino Villamañan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Oidor Cerda made the kick off in the second half. Diablos Rojos's Celestino Villamañan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Diablos Rojos from getting a goal against them. After 62 minutes, Aureo Ruesga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diablos Rojos and the DON RAMON 72 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Aureo Ruesga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Diablos Rojos getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Oidor Cerda hit a great ball. Diablos Rojos's Celestino Villamañan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rod Stewart in the 75th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Silvano Harkaitz took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Celestino Villamañan to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Harkaitz in the 82nd minute of play forced Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Celestino Villamañan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, DON RAMON 72's Rod Stewart nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celestino Villamañan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. A collision led to Diablos Rojos getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Aureo Ruesga hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Roberto Tohias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DON RAMON 72 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Celestino Villamañan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rod Stewart, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, DON RAMON 72's Rod Stewart dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Celestino Villamañan made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Silvano Harkaitz sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded DON RAMON 72 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Diablos Rojos.
