After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Antônio Carlos Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. IGUIPORÃ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Carlos Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Poyraz Tümerkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gencer Yücelay hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. A collision led to IGUIPORÃ FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dênis Faria hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Gencalp Öktem managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee ignored Hendek Spor Kulübü's protests and gave Nusrettin Uçman a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in IGUIPORÃ FC's zone, Mehmet Ali Saltuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Veloso came out of the goal and Mehmet Ali Saltuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Poyraz Tümerkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dênis Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Mehmet Ali Saltuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nilton Viana took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Poyraz Tümerkan. Poyraz Tümerkan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Ortiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hendek Spor Kulübü's Poyraz Tümerkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Abreu in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Ortiz in the 53rd minute of play forced Hendek Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Poyraz Tümerkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dênis Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilton Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Poyraz Tümerkan having to interfere. Zé Ortiz took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Poyraz Tümerkan. Poyraz Tümerkan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 63 minutes into the game, Antônio Carlos Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Poyraz Tümerkan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71stth minute of the game Zé Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hendek Spor Kulübü's Poyraz Tümerkan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Basílio Veloso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Antônio Carlos Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 80th minute, Mehmet Ali Saltuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. IGUIPORÃ FC's Jardel Félix was substituted for Antônio Carlos Abreu. A collision led to Hendek Spor Kulübü getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Mehmet Ali Saltuk hit a great ball. Poyraz Tümerkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Ortiz in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 played minutes IGUIPORÃ FC got a freekick which was hit by Jardel Félix. If Gencalp Öktem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, IGUIPORÃ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Félix to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Hendek Spor Kulübü getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Yıldırım Ongunalp hit a great ball. Hendek Spor Kulübü's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
