The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olimpia HSB's Miromir Mikulski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serbülent Salim in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, AIF's 汪希瑜 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miromir Mikulski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 汪希瑜 during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 12 minutes into the match, Serbülent Salim notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Olimpia HSB's Miromir Mikulski. Miromir Mikulski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 汪希瑜 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, 汪希瑜 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, AIF's 汪希瑜 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miromir Mikulski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eugeniusz Murdza made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AIF's Greger Jonasson. 31 minutes in the game, Damian Grucza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marek Szostak having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbigniew Galagan got free with Marek Szostak in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marek Sitko charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marek Sitko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Olimpia HSB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Sitko to maneuver through the defense. Tomasz Cebula charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomasz Cebula the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. AIF's Anton Harlén was substituted for Serbülent Salim. In the 46th minute, Tomasz Cebula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bror Skoog took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Miromir Mikulski. Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anton Harlén to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Miromir Mikulski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Konrad Puch's late challenge caught a AIF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konrad Puch helped the player get up and apologised. Konrad Puch hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A collision led to Olimpia HSB getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tomasz Cebula hit a great ball. In the 56th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Hurtig to maneuver through the defense. Marek Szostak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Galagan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olimpia HSB made a substitution. Roland Mielak replaced Ulryk Tarka. In the 65th minute of the match Olimpia HSB got a corner. AIF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arkadiusz Czajkowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Olimpia HSB's corner Arkadiusz Czajkowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marek Szostak quite easily take care of the ball. 汪希瑜 took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miromir Mikulski. Miromir Mikulski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. AIF's Anton Harlén got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugeniusz Murdza kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Mattias Kuse kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Zbigniew Galagan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AIF's Marek Szostak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Grucza in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, 汪希瑜 made a precise shot to the right of Miromir Mikulski. Olimpia HSB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Sitko in the 81st minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Marek Szostak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Szostak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Czajkowski in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of AIF booed when Olimpia HSB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Wielgopolski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th match minute, Olimpia HSB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mieszko Mocko to maneuver through the defense. Wilhelm Alströmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miromir Mikulski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AIF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
