Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Malcolm Neal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Neal in the 3rd minute of play forced Dogo Argentino's goalkeeper Fernan Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clovis Médard took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Wong. Ricardo Wong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Fernan Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carson Sherrill in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Malcolm Neal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zamalek FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Santo Knox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Roman Sandalio in the 24th minute really tested Ricardo Wong's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Zamalek FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Tuan Glover hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes, Dogo Argentino's Roman Sandalio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Wong came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dogo Argentino reached it. When Jacobo Policarpio fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dogo Argentino's protests and gave Jacobo Policarpio a yellow card for diving instead. Jacobo Policarpio hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Gilbert Jordan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Roman Sandalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes, Zamalek FC's Lloyd Warren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernan Loren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clovis Médard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gilbert Jordan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Fernan Loren managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Zamalek FC's Carson Sherrill fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 57th minute Jacobo Policarpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Wong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Zamalek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Ciauri to maneuver through the defense. Roman Sandalio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Clovis Médard scored 2-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Wong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 67 minutes of play, Dogo Argentino's Clovis Médard made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Wong was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Dogo Argentino fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Dogo Argentino's Clovis Médard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zamalek FC's Carson Sherrill got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute Clovis Médard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Wong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Clovis Médard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Wong was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Malcolm Neal kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Ricardo Wong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Errolan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Mateo Tohias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lloyd Warren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Zamalek FC's Gilbert Jordan got a free kick in the 96th minute. Saul Vincente struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ricardo Wong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dogo Argentino.
