Waldemar Klimkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fawaz Boland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olgierd Ochylski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Golden Tigers getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. King Sputore hit a great ball. Golden Tigers's José Alberto Chilavert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Tigers from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 53rd minute, Khalefa Al Hadad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar Klimkiewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basem Al Baghli's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Gustaw Wlodyga charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustaw Wlodyga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Golden Tigers booed when ACR SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaw Wlodyga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Banaszak kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Szymon Gorzkiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of ACR SA booed when Golden Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdul Aziz Al Holey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Szymon Gorzkiewicz scored 1-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Alberto Chilavert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Golden Tigers defense, Mateo Pession kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Alberto Chilavert. The Golden Tigers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Alberto Chilavert should have stopped the shot. Szymon Gorzkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th match minute, Golden Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basem Al Baghli to maneuver through the defense. José Alberto Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Pession in the 89th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, ACR SA's Szymon Gorzkiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Alberto Chilavert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 93rd minute, Szymon Gorzkiewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ACR SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Golden Tigers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ACR SA.
