The supporters of Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Kilman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sylwester Prosowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Engström, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute 汪希瑜 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Prosowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalkeeper Sylwester Prosowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgar Brenner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hieronim Gorzkiewicz in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Jonasson in the 20th minute of play forced Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalkeeper Sylwester Prosowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Okropny came free, but Edgar Brenner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serbülent Salim might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sylwester Prosowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serbülent Salim ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th minute, 汪希瑜 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sylwester Prosowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birger Engström during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Birger Engström. An unexpectedly hard shot by C.J. 刘备 in the 32nd minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Edgar Brenner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when 汪希瑜 came free, but Sylwester Prosowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Wawrzyniec Rozanski fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's protests and gave Wawrzyniec Rozanski a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's zone, 汪希瑜 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylwester Prosowski came out of the goal and 汪希瑜 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half AIF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serbülent Salim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgar Brenner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from C.J. 刘备 in the 93rd minute of play. If Bernard Okropny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. AIF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
