A collision led to Gladiadores getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Evelio Baristo hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Victoriano Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Pero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Jerrold took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Pero. Zacarias Pero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Gladiadores's Zacarias Pero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Jerrold in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Ramiro Blai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gladiadores's Zacarias Pero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zacarias Pero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Blai in the 27th minute of play. Jonatan Bortzaioriz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 35th match minute, Congo Bongo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Blai to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Jonatan Bortzaioriz notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Gladiadores's Zacarias Pero. Zacarias Pero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zacarias Pero came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Congo Bongo's Roberto Telo. But to his dismay, Roberto Telo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victoriano Jerrold was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Gladiadores's Evelio Manilan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Ihazintu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. After 55 played minutes Congo Bongo got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Jerrold. After some careless play in the Gladiadores defense, Victoriano Jerrold kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacarias Pero. The Gladiadores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Pero should have stopped the shot. Zacarias Pero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Telo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zacarias Pero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Telo in the 63rd minute of the match. With 65 minutes on the clock, Evelio Baristo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 65 minutes into the game, one of Gladiadores:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Erasmo Sengrat shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 71st minute, Victoriano Jerrold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Pero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. Zacarias Pero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Telo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Ramiro Blai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Congo Bongo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Blai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erasmo Sengrat scored 1-10 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Pero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 95 minutes, Florentino Gonchan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gladiadores and the Congo Bongo players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the final whistle sounded Congo Bongo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gladiadores.
