Ernesto Quexal was a little too slow when Jonatan Bortzaioriz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 15th match minute, Abasto fútbol club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Frutos to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Baumar struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Ernesto Quexal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Congo Bongo. Congo Bongo's Ramiro Blai suffered a concussion after 17 minutes and had to leave the field. 17 minutes into the game, Damaso Opilano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abasto fútbol club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Congo Bongo the free kick. Damaso Opilano kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Epifanio Ihazintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Aritza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Raymon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Quexal having to interfere. A collision led to Congo Bongo getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Fernando Naike hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Amadeo Frutos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Maximiliano Baumar came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Congo Bongo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Baumar couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Victoriano Jerrold had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Quexal. Abasto fútbol club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoriano Jerrold was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cornelio Nabar was the one to do the kick off. Benjamin Muc charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Muc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st match minute, Abasto fútbol club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Muc to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, Victoriano Jerrold made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Quexal. Abasto fútbol club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Victoriano Jerrold might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Quexal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victoriano Jerrold ran back to his position shaking his head. Victoriano Jerrold scored 4-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Quexal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abasto fútbol club's Ernesto Quexal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Jerrold in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the Abasto fútbol club defense, Victoriano Jerrold kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Quexal. The Abasto fútbol club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Quexal should have stopped the shot. Ernesto Quexal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Raymon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abasto fútbol club were furious when Serafin Chap was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 79 played minutes Abasto fútbol club got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Chap. In the 82nd minute, Jacobo Raymon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Quexal was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Victoriano Jerrold managed to get in a good position for a shot. Congo Bongo's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Jerrold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Quexal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Baumar in the 95th minute of play forced Abasto fútbol club's goalkeeper Ernesto Quexal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Congo Bongo fully deserved thier win.
