Abutres 2003 FDP's Erik Donatello couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alvinegro Carioca. The supporters of Abutres 2003 FDP booed when Alvinegro Carioca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cássio Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Teixeira in the 8th minute of play forced Alvinegro Carioca's goalkeeper Cássio Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Abutres 2003 FDP booed when Alvinegro Carioca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermínio Ferrazs short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Caio da Costa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cássio Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Teixeira in the 17th minute of the match. Alvinegro Carioca's Cássio Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Teixeira in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Abutres 2003 FDP booed when Alvinegro Carioca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvinho Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvinegro Carioca's Cássio Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão de Salles in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Alvinegro Carioca got a corner. Abutres 2003 FDP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jefferson Mesquita ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Yan das Neves managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 29 minutes into the match, Alvinegro Carioca's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Mandrak came free, but Cássio Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Nóbrega in the 31st minute of play forced Alvinegro Carioca's goalkeeper Cássio Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wágner Miranda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caio da Costa having to make a save. Wágner Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Alvinegro Carioca's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Teixeira came free, but Cássio Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yan das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yan das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Alvinegro Carioca's Yan das Neves got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Cássio Aguiar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristóvão de Salles went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cássio Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Murillo Bittencourt made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Alvinegro Carioca's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Bittencourt came free, but Cássio Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adalberto Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Alvinegro Carioca got a freekick which was hit by Léo Faria. After a rather tough play, Alvinegro Carioca's Pedro Luiz Diniz got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 79th minute, Cristóvão de Salles made a precise shot to the right of Cássio Aguiar. Alvinegro Carioca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 85 played minutes Abutres 2003 FDP got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Queirós. Léo Faria hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Abutres 2003 FDP's Murillo Bittencourt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Cássio Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murillo Bittencourt in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Abutres 2003 FDP left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alvinegro Carioca.
