FC Philotimo's Vico Lloret got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 9 played minutes FC Philotimo got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Braojos. After 14 played minutes Gladiadores got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Monico. Jesus Lluis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Matias Morquecho made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, FC Philotimo's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Iturri came free, but Matias Morquecho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Braojos in the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Gladiadores's goal looked a bit too open when Ximenes Coz came free, but Cesar Romelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Braojos took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesar Romelio. Cesar Romelio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Matias Morquecho made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Claudio Iturri sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the match, Gladiadores's Claudio Iturri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matias Morquecho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Claudio Iturri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Matias Morquecho. Claudio Iturri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. FC Philotimo's Matias Morquecho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save FC Philotimo from getting a goal against them.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Lloret to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC Philotimo's zone, Claudio Iturri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Morquecho came out of the goal and Claudio Iturri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 53 played minutes FC Philotimo got a freekick which was hit by Ximenes Coz. In the 54thth minute of the game Claudio Iturri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Philotimo's Matias Morquecho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Eugenio Braojos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesar Romelio. Gladiadores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugenio Braojos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Gladiadores's Wilfredo Monico got a free kick in the 60th minute. Cesar Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Braojos in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Gladiadores got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Lluis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Iturri in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Philotimo's goalkeeper Matias Morquecho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Morquecho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Iturri, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Cesar Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Braojos in the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, FC Philotimo's Vico Lloret nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cesar Romelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After 86 played minutes FC Philotimo got a freekick which was hit by Ximenes Coz. 89 minutes into the match, FC Philotimo's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Iturri came free, but Matias Morquecho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Romelio made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Eugenio Braojos sent off a good shot on target. FC Philotimo played a much better game than Gladiadores and deserved their victory. The Gladiadores players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
