The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Gildo Dracena got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 9 minutes, Gildo Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miau Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gildo Dracena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maria Socorro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Tony de Sena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Miau Stars booed when Sandinense ADF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ediberto Paraense hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Maria Socorro in the 19th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Tony de Sena kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 24th minute, Rodriguinho Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Tony de Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gildo Dracena. When Jerônimo Neto fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miau Stars's protests and gave Jerônimo Neto a yellow card for diving instead. Jerônimo Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Romário Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Maria Socorro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tony de Sena, 2-0. Maria Socorro in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tony de Sena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sandinense ADF's Tony de Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Sandinense ADF from getting a goal against them. Sandinense ADF's Tony de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Carioca in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maria Socorro in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony de Sena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Gildo Dracena hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maria Socorro in the 53rd minute of play forced Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Tony de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sandinense ADF's Ediberto Paraense got a free kick in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maria Socorro in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony de Sena saved Sandinense ADF from getting behind. Ediberto Paraense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Sidney Queirós made a huge save. Ediberto Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Sandinense ADF's Tony de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maria Socorro in the 70th minute of play. Tony de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maria Socorro in the 72nd minute of play. Miau Stars's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Romário Linares scored to the left of an out of position Sidney Queirós, making the score, 3-1. In the 81st minute, Ediberto Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th match minute, Sandinense ADF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Paraense to maneuver through the defense. Tony de Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maria Socorro's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Tony de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandinense ADF's Tony de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson Soares in the 92nd minute of play. Nilson Sanches struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Tony de Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miau Stars. Miau Stars walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
