The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ricardo Kaká might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samir Yaybüke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Kaká ran back to his position shaking his head. 3 minutes into the game, Namık Bayramoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raichu JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blue Mountain State the free kick. Namık Bayramoğlu hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Raichu JK's Ercan Kaan got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ricardo Kaká took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samir Yaybüke. Samir Yaybüke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Raichu JK's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Kaká came free, but Samir Yaybüke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yalçın Olgunay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ercan Kaan went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Raichu JK's Samir Yaybüke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artun Şenyurt in the 25th minute of play. If Necati Eripek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Ricardo Kaká made a precise shot to the right of Samir Yaybüke. Raichu JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When Blue Mountain State's Ricardo Kaká in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ercan Kaan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ali Macit Ozanalp charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Macit Ozanalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, Necati Eripek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Namık Bayramoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Yalçın Olgunay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samir Yaybüke stood somewhat misplaced when Ricardo Kaká came free in front of goal and shot 2-6 to the left of him in the 81 minute. In the 86th minute, Blue Mountain State's Ricardo Kaká dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-7. Ali Macit Ozanalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blue Mountain State's Yalçın Olgunay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercan Kaan in the 93rd minute of play. Samir Yaybüke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Kaká in the 96th minute. Blue Mountain State's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
