In the 17th match minute, Nubecitas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hanni Ruiz to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Rodriguinho Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Odilon Rivas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tony de Sena firmly grabbed it by the left post. Odilon Rivass short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Tony de Sena to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Odilon Rivas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tony de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Sandinense ADF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Odilon Rivas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cássio Maia might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anko Bravo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cássio Maia ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peio Guijarro in the 36th minute of play forced Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Tony de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Sandinense ADF got a freekick which was hit by Romário Linares. In the 41st match minute, Sandinense ADF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Penha to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peio Guijarro to strike the kick off in the second half. The corner led Nubecitas FC's Jacobo Gomar to fire away a dangerous shot which Tony de Sena despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Odilon Rivas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nubecitas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Odilon Rivas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony de Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peio Guijarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
