Rodriguinho Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüştü Recber having to interfere. 20 minutes in the game, Ali Macit Ozanalp fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tony de Sena having to interfere. Tony de Sena made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ercan Kaan sent off a good shot on target. When Ediberto Paraense fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sandinense ADF's protests and gave Ediberto Paraense a yellow card for diving instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ercan Kaan made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Cássio Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandinense ADF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th match minute, Raichu JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şahin Muammer to maneuver through the defense. Sandinense ADF's Toninho Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercan Kaan couldn't finish the play. Ali Macit Ozanalp's late challenge caught a Sandinense ADF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Macit Ozanalp helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Ali Macit Ozanalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
