After 14 played minutes Nàstic de Tarragona got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Lastras. Andrei Lupu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Siro Eduino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Lupu in the 17th minute of the match. Saturnino Ladra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koen Van der Hoeven in the 24th minute of play forced Nàstic de Tarragona's goalkeeper Saturnino Ladra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Facundo Lastras's late challenge caught a La Coruña FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Facundo Lastras helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrei Lupu in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Eduino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 39 played minutes Nàstic de Tarragona got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Lastras. Nàstic de Tarragona's Saturnino Ladra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Nàstic de Tarragona from getting a goal against them. Facundo Lastras was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 45 played minutes Nàstic de Tarragona got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Lastras. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Koen Van der Hoeven made the kick off in the second half. Siro Eduino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Andrei Lupu in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Siro Eduino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Nàstic de Tarragona getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Andrei Lupu hit a great ball. The Nàstic de Tarragona supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nàstic de Tarragona would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
