The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Lucjan Bara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jagiellonia Bialystok's Zula Petrasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Lupu in the 7th minute of play. Korneliusz Zajonc got a throw-in 8 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lech Czekaj. Saturnino Ladra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lech Czekaj in the 9th minute. Boleslaw Czajkowski's late challenge caught a Jagiellonia Bialystok's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boleslaw Czajkowski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Nàstic de Tarragona's Boleslaw Czajkowski got a free kick in the 11th minute. Zula Petrasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Lupu in the 27th minute of play. Andrei Lupu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Lech Czekaj could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Saturnino Ladra however easily saved by the left post. Nàstic de Tarragona's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Ludomir Tomiczek scored to the left of an out of position Saturnino Ladra, making the score, 2-0. A collision led to Nàstic de Tarragona getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Bernal Fresnos hit a great ball. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nàstic de Tarragona's goalkeeper Saturnino Ladra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrei Lupu to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Lech Czekaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Ladra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lech Czekaj in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saturnino Ladra saved Nàstic de Tarragona from getting behind. Hugon Mios kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Zula Petrasz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrei Lupu in the 80th minute. Hugon Mios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Saturnino Ladra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Andrei Lupu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nàstic de Tarragona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrei Lupu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saturnino Ladra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Czekaj in the 91st minute of the match.
