Javi Bonilla's late challenge caught a Candelaria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javi Bonilla helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Nàstic de Tarragona got a freekick which was hit by Javi Bonilla. Nunez Gartzea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saturnino Ladra. Nàstic de Tarragona's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Nàstic de Tarragona booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Onofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nàstic de Tarragona's Facundo Lastras got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Nàstic de Tarragona's Roldán Pascual got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Alonso Garzon fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nàstic de Tarragona's protests and gave Alonso Garzon a yellow card for diving instead. Alonso Garzon kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Alonso Garzon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Ibon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Delmar Kelemen hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Alonso Garzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Ibon having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alonso Garzon was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Denis Onofre in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nàstic de Tarragona's Alonso Garzon. The crowd rose to their feet as Alonso Garzon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernan Ibon. That made the score 0-1 in the 53 minute of play. Alonso Garzon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Nàstic de Tarragona booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Onofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Facundo Lastras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nàstic de Tarragona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candelaria FC the free kick. In the 68th match minute, Nàstic de Tarragona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Lastras to maneuver through the defense. When Facundo Lastras was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. If Guido Koldobika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the match, Guido Koldobika notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Nàstic de Tarragona's Saturnino Ladra. Saturnino Ladra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matia Camara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Fernan Ibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Roman Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saturnino Ladra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Koldobika, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
