The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmelo Cordario during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Candelaria FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jagiellonia Bialystok:s goal. The goalkeeper, Fernan Ibon, was totally fooled by Jagiellonia Bialystok's Izydor Sokol, who 4 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Lech Czekaj took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernan Ibon. Fernan Ibon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Fernan Ibon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Czekaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Fiz. 13 minutes into the match, Lech Czekaj had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernan Ibon. Candelaria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lech Czekaj was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Lech Czekaj put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fernan Ibon. After 27 minutes, Przemyslaw Kensicki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jagiellonia Bialystok and the Candelaria FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Przemyslaw Kensicki hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Zula Petrasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Emesto in the 30th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruperto Emesto made a kick off. The Jagiellonia Bialystok fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Jagiellonia Bialystok's Lech Czekaj looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Roman Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Zula Petrasz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when Jagiellonia Bialystok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugon Mios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zula Petrasz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Perico in the 67th minute. In the 67th match minute, Jagiellonia Bialystok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Bara to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Jagiellonia Bialystok's Lucjan Bara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernan Ibon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. After 81 minutes of play, Candelaria FC's Eusebio Perico made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zula Petrasz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eusebio Perico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Jagiellonia Bialystok's Hugon Mios got a free kick in the 89th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Eusebio Perico notched a goal, 9-2, to the right of Jagiellonia Bialystok's Zula Petrasz. Zula Petrasz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jagiellonia Bialystok were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Candelaria FC for a fine match.
