Rüknettin Demirbaş came out of the goal and Lucjan Bara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rüknettin Demirbaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Czekaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdulbaki Aktaş was the one to do the kick off. Abdulbaki Aktaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zula Petrasz having to interfere. Necip Fazıl Aşık lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The tension between the Jagiellonia Bialystok and the Kültepe Spor Kulübü players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jagiellonia Bialystok's Lucjan Bara suffered a concussion in the 62nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. During the 62nd minute of the match Korhan Balıkçıoğlu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Korhan Balıkçıoğlu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 64th match minute, Kültepe Spor Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korhan Balıkçıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Jagiellonia Bialystok's Wojciech Gondela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rüknettin Demirbaş. Rüknettin Demirbaş yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 72 minutes into the match, Kültepe Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Wojciech Gondela came free, but Rüknettin Demirbaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kültepe Spor Kulübü's Abdulbaki Aktaş got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Rüknettin Demirbaş was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Izydor Sokol. Lech Czekaj kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 76thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Kültepe Spor Kulübü's keeper Rüknettin Demirbaş was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 77 played minutes Kültepe Spor Kulübü got a freekick which was hit by Şerif Sabahaddin. Wojciech Gondela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Kültepe Spor Kulübü's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Przemyslaw Kensicki fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rüknettin Demirbaş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lech Czekaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Lech Czekaj put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rüknettin Demirbaş. Jagiellonia Bialystok's Ludomir Tomiczek shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rüknettin Demirbaş but with some difficulty. The supporters of Jagiellonia Bialystok booed when Kültepe Spor Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulbaki Aktaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Izydor Sokol from long distance, 98 minutes into the match, got Rüknettin Demirbaş's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
