Dănuț Roman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Östen Röd when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 7th match minute, -BZF- Valea Buzăului was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Ulici to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the match Ludwig Bock sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cosmin Galiceanu skillfully saved the ball. Östen Röd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dănuț Roman, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Thomas Häll notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Cosmin Galiceanu. Cosmin Galiceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute, Ivan Spineanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosmin Galiceanu came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Ipswich Traktor Boys's Thomas Häll. But to his dismay, Thomas Häll quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iona Tudora got free with Östen Röd in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristinel Ulici's late challenge caught a Ipswich Traktor Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristinel Ulici helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes, Ipswich Traktor Boys's Ludwig Bock shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cosmin Galiceanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ipswich Traktor Boys reached it. After 38 minutes, Ivan Spineanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Valea Buzăului and the Ipswich Traktor Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to -BZF- Valea Buzăului getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ivan Spineanu hit a great ball. Thomas Häll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Cosmin Galiceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosmin Galiceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Häll in the 46th minute of play. When Teodor Finteșteanu fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -BZF- Valea Buzăului's protests and gave Teodor Finteșteanu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute of the match Ludwig Bock sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cosmin Galiceanu skillfully saved the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Häll made a kick off. Cosmin Galiceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Klemensson in the 51st minute of play. In the 56th match minute, -BZF- Valea Buzăului was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Finteșteanu to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Ludwig Bock from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Cosmin Galiceanu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Östen Röd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iona Tudora in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Spineanu in the 62nd minute of play forced Ipswich Traktor Boys's goalkeeper Östen Röd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Cosmin Galiceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Häll. 67 minutes into the game, Ludwig Bock lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Cosmin Galiceanu. 70 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Cosmin Galiceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niclas Nordin. Cosmin Galiceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Bock in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Ipswich Traktor Boys's Thomas Häll nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cosmin Galiceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Ludwig Bock took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosmin Galiceanu. Cosmin Galiceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Cosmin Galiceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Häll, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. A collision led to -BZF- Valea Buzăului getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Dinu Gherguț hit a great ball. Ludwig Bock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Cosmin Galiceanu made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Ludwig Bock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosmin Galiceanu. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ludwig Bock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. 89 minutes into the match, Ipswich Traktor Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Dănuț Roman came free, but Östen Röd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elliott Klemensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmin Galiceanu having to interfere. The -BZF- Valea Buzăului supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ipswich Traktor Boys's performance. The match ended with a win for Ipswich Traktor Boys.
