Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Ivan Spineanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Carlos Alberto Passos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Danone CC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cosmin Galiceanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto Senna went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Cosmin Galiceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Ivan Spineanu got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Vladimir de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosmin Galiceanu came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Danone CC's Szczepan Mosiniak. But to his dismay, Szczepan Mosiniak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of -BZF- Valea Buzăului booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lamar Walls didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otávio Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iona Tudora in the 29th minute of the match. Fausto Senna took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosmin Galiceanu. Cosmin Galiceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Cosmin Galiceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Mosiniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Fausto Senna made a precise shot to the right of Cosmin Galiceanu. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 44 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Senna came free, but Cosmin Galiceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Danone CC's Lamar Walls got a free kick in the 45th minute. With a little luck, Danone CC's Otávio Massa got control of the ball when Dănuț Roman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Júnior Veloso was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Júnior Veloso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Cosmin Galiceanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the game, Iona Tudora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Danone CC the free kick. Iona Tudora kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Cosmin Galiceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir de Almeida in the 64th minute of the match. Danone CC's Otávio Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dănuț Roman in the 67th minute of play. Dănuț Roman spun around in front of the goal 67 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Danone CC's goal. Cosmin Galiceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Senna in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Szczepan Mosiniak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd match minute, -BZF- Valea Buzăului was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iona Tudora to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Danone CC's Júnior Veloso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Senna in the 84th minute of play forced -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Cosmin Galiceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristinel Ulici hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Júlio Pena hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Lamar Walls lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Lamar Walls kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Iona Tudora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iona Tudora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Danone CC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
