Cosmin Galiceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Andreasson in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Andreasson in the 11th minute of play forced -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Cosmin Galiceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Spineanu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Gunnar Granqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Spineanu in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Dănuț Roman notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of IFK Stockholm's Gunnar Granqvist. Gunnar Granqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Ivan Spineanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gunnar Granqvist. That made the score 2-2 in the 39 minute of play. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Dănuț Roman got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Calle Kvick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Spineanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Cosmin Galiceanu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. IFK Stockholm's Gunnar Granqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iona Tudora in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Cosmin Galiceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bertil Andreasson. IFK Stockholm's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Simon Ek in the 70th minute. The corner ended in Simon Ek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Cosmin Galiceanu did a great save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. IFK Stockholm had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
