After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júnior Veloso to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Senna got free with Östen Röd in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Júnior Veloso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Östen Röd. That made the score 0-1 in the 53 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Östen Röd successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bo-Erik Anselius kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Júnior Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Östen Röd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Júnior Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Östen Röd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Szczepan Mosiniak came free, but Östen Röd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szczepan Mosiniak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niclas Nordin hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the game, Ademir Aparecido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Danone CC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Shadows the free kick. The supporters of The Shadows booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademir Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otávio Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Bock in the 82nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júnior Veloso in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Östen Röd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fausto Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Östen Röd made a huge save. Östen Röd came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Danone CC's Fausto Senna. But to his dismay, Fausto Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Östen Röd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Thomas Häll took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Otávio Massa. Otávio Massa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Danone CC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
