After 3 minutes of play, Danone CC's Júlio Pena made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Granqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Júlio Penas short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Gunnar Granqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gunnar Granqvist made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Fausto Senna sent off a good shot on target. Gunnar Granqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Senna in the 9th minute of play. IFK Stockholm's Gunnar Granqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save IFK Stockholm from getting a goal against them. Gunnar Granqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Pena in the 12th minute. IFK Stockholm's Gunnar Granqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Senna in the 17th minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Júnior Veloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Stockholm's Gunnar Granqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gunnar Granqvist made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Júlio Pena sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Gunnar Granqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júlio Pena. Gunnar Granqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Pena in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leo Lönn to strike the kick off in the second half. Danone CC's Otávio Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Andreasson in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Danone CC booed when IFK Stockholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Ek didn't get a good kick on the ball. IFK Stockholm's Gunnar Granqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Mosiniak in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, IFK Stockholm's Bertil Andreasson got a free kick in the 88th minute. Štefko Müür hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute Fausto Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Granqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunnar Granqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szczepan Mosiniak in the 96th minute of the match. Gunnar Granqvist came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Danone CC's Szczepan Mosiniak. But to his dismay, Szczepan Mosiniak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Danone CC had won after a very even match.
