In the 3rd play minute Steve Vaid came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kristian Albom. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Inter de Chillán's Giuseppe Meazza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kristian Albom. That made the score 2-0 after 7 minutes of play. Kristian Albom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Luis Dittborn, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Steve Vaid had several of the Torekov's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Kristian Albom as he didn't even see the shot coming. A hard shot 19 in the game by Juan Luis Dittborn from a close distance when the talented Kristian Albom managed to make a qualified save. Torekov's players were relieved. Kristian Albom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogerio Berecedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristian Albom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Luis Dittborn went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 28 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Meazza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristian Albom. Torekov's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giuseppe Meazza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 31st minute, Tom Bredberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The excitement rose when Inter de Chillán's Arnaldo Detmer after 33 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Torekov's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Luis Dittborn in the 36th minute of play forced Torekov's goalkeeper Kristian Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torekov's Kristian Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Manuel Aguiar in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Meazza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kristian Albom, 8-0. In the 43rd minute, Inter de Chillán's Giuseppe Meazza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 9-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Vaid got free with Kristian Albom in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulf Ersman to strike the kick off in the second half. Kristian Albom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kristian Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Luis Alfaro in the 81st minute of play. Steve Vaid scored 16-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristian Albom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, Juan Luis Alfaro made a precise shot to the right of Kristian Albom. Torekov's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 17-0. 88 minutes into the match, Juan Luis Alfaro notched a goal, 18-0, to the right of Torekov's Kristian Albom. Kristian Albom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 91 minutes into the match, Torekov's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Lacunza came free, but Kristian Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristian Albom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Vaid in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogerio Berecedo in the 94th minute of play forced Torekov's goalkeeper Kristian Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Steve Vaid had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristian Albom. Torekov's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steve Vaid was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 19-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Inter de Chillán had played much better football throughout.
